Daisi was named Honorary Committee Member for the Give Kids A Shot annual gala benefiting the National Meningitis Association in 2012. As a Women’s ambassador in the age of self-acceptance, body-shaming, equal pay, #MeToo, #TimesUp and so much more, Daisi’s role is to help spread awareness, advocate for policy changes and promote gender equality and social justice through women’s leadership.

Meningitis Statement Dress
The Meningitis Statement Dress was designed by Lauri Elyse Collection in 2012 for the Give Kids A Shot Gala benefitting the National Meningitis Association. The Meningitis Statement Dress features a little black dress with an exposed zipper and a detachable apron skirt made of lamented newspaper fabric featuring biographical stories and photos of lives touched by meningitis. The jewelry was also Handcrafted Statement Jewelry by Laurie Elyse
